1. Who this agreement is with
These terms are between you and 3PLE A DATA LIMITED (RC 9746103), a company registered in Nigeria with its registered office in Kano State at Office No. 108 Karkasara Road, Tarauni LGA Kano, Kano State, Nigeria, trading as 3pple A (“we”, “us”). Our Taxpayer Identification Number is 2621941333990. By creating an account, funding a wallet or buying anything through our app or website, you accept them.
You must be at least 18 years old and using your own identity and your own phone number. Accounts opened in somebody else’s name may be closed and the balance held pending verification.
2. What we are, and what we are not
We are a reseller. We buy airtime, data and bill payment value from licensed aggregators and sell it to you through a prepaid wallet. We are not a bank, we are not a deposit-taking institution, and your wallet balance is not a bank deposit and is not insured as one. Card payments and bank transfers are processed by our payment partner, who is licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
We are not the network operator, the electricity distribution company or the pay-TV provider. Where a service is delivered by one of them, their own terms govern the service itself.
3. Your account and your PIN
You are responsible for your password and your transaction PIN. Every debit from your wallet requires the PIN or the biometric unlock you enabled on your own device. Treat both as you would treat your bank PIN:
- Do not share them with anyone, including someone claiming to be our staff. We will never ask.
- Do not reuse a PIN you use elsewhere.
- Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access to your account.
Transactions authorised with your correct PIN are treated as authorised by you. If your device or credentials were compromised, contact us straight away and we will investigate, but the sooner you tell us the more we can do.
4. Funding your wallet
You can fund by transfer to the dedicated account number issued to you, or by card. A flat funding fee applies and is shown to you before you fund. Funds credit automatically once our payment partner confirms them, usually within seconds.
Send money only from an account in your own name. Transfers from third parties may be held or returned, because we are required to know whose money we are holding.
5. Buying, delivery and what happens when it fails
Check the recipient before you confirm. Airtime, data and bill payments are delivered to the number or meter you enter. A purchase delivered correctly to the wrong number because it was typed incorrectly cannot be recovered by us, and the network will not reverse it.
Once you confirm a purchase, one of three things happens:
- It is delivered. Your wallet is debited and a receipt with a reference is saved to your history.
- It is declined by the provider. Your wallet is credited back automatically.
- It stays pending. We re-check it with the provider on a schedule. If delivery is not confirmed within the reversal window shown to you in the app, your wallet is credited back automatically, without you needing to ask.
In rare cases a provider confirms delivery after we have already reversed a purchase. Where that happens and you have received the value, we may re-debit the amount, and we will tell you when we do.
6. Prices
Prices are shown before you confirm and are the prices you pay. They can change at any time, because our own costs change, but a change never applies to a purchase you have already confirmed.
7. Withdrawals and refunds
Your wallet balance remains yours. You may request a withdrawal to a bank account in your own name, subject to identity verification and any limits shown in the app. We may hold a withdrawal while we investigate suspected fraud, a chargeback on the funding that created the balance, or a request from a competent authority.
Referral bonuses and promotional credits are spendable on the platform but are not withdrawable to a bank account.
8. Referrals
You earn a bonus when someone you invited makes their first qualifying purchase. Bonuses are capped per referrer per calendar month. We void referrals that are self-referrals, that come from the same device, or that show a pattern of accounts created to farm bonuses rather than to use the service. The decision on abuse is ours, and repeated abuse can close an account.
9. Things you must not do
- Use the service for money laundering, fraud, or any illegal purpose.
- Open multiple accounts to take a promotion more than once.
- Use automated tools to place orders at a volume a person could not.
- Resell at scale without a reseller agreement with us.
- Attempt to probe, scan or interfere with the platform’s security.
We may suspend or close an account that does any of these, and we will report activity to the authorities where we are required to.
10. Suspension and closure
You can close your account at any time; ask us and we will return any remaining balance to a bank account in your name after verification. We may suspend an account where we reasonably suspect fraud or a breach of these terms, and we will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.
11. Our liability
We are liable to you for the value of a transaction that we took payment for and failed to deliver or refund. We are not liable for losses caused by a network operator, a disco or a pay-TV provider failing to activate value we successfully delivered to them, for delays outside our control, or for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost opportunity.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Nigerian law.
12. Complaints
Raise a ticket in the app or email support@3plea.com.ng. We aim to acknowledge within one business day. If we cannot resolve it between us, the dispute is subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the courts of Kano State.
13. Changes to these terms
We will publish a new version here with a new date and, for anything that materially affects your money, tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.
